Memoir's Of My KL Trip

MY FLIGHT Sunday 25th November ..........as I was about to board my flight from KIA . Last night I slept pretty late and got up early to pack my stuff, maybe it was anxiety that kept me awake . I detected the reasons are probably due to that this is my last travelling streak for the year and this is my longest trip yet to be in the West side ...what a nice note to end the year!!

This is the Airbus 330 which is certainly very comfortable to grab my much needed nap during the 1 and 1/2 hours journey to KL.
Those who wants to take the Airbus 330 ,it flys daily to KL ETD 11.05am or 6.30pm and return ETD is 8.45am or 4.00pm from KL.

MY ACCOMODATION

My deluxe room , spacious and clean and at this time of year its price at RM185++

A breathtaking view of KL city from the room window .

One of the pride of the nation .....421 meters KL Tower built in 1995 and one of the 5th tallest tower in the world. It has a revolving restuarant ....sad to say I have not been there so it would be one of my optimum goal to set my foot there next year.

INTERESTING BUS

It costs me RM55 which is expensive from where i come from..............
You do get some sort of entertainment along the way......a mobile karaoke performed by a handicap couple.

The lady is somewhat a midget and the guy is wheelchair bound pushing the mobile karaoke cart,.it shows that in life there are no limits ..........Amazing!!

BUKIT BINTANG AT NIGHT.....by night it transformed into a"lepak" or hangout zone for city dwellers and tourists alike.

Nightly there would be an amatuer band performing by the corner of Sungai Wang Plaza ...they normally would seek your generous contributions!!

ZOUK CLUB , JLN AMPANG.......one of the most polular clubs in KL which originates from Zouk ,Singapore which I have been more than 10 years ago when it just opened. Can't imagine its success story has dated back more than a decade!!!

At Main Entrance ,you have the option of choosing either house or trance music to hangout the whole night. The rule is when you have decided ,you are not allowed crossover to the other.....if you having sneaky ideas and second thoughts ,the bouncers would be there to assists you to erase it!

THE ARCHITECTURAL SHAPE OF BUILDINGS IN KL CITY

When I strolled through the mushrooms of buildings ,I can helped but stopped on my tracks to just glance at the magnificent skyscrapers with my head stretched upwards ...and I must say there was some influxed of certain patrotism in me!

Buildings at Jln Kia Peng next to Jln Raja Chulan ...far right is the KLCC Aquaria which connects to Suria KLCC.

KLCC in between buildings at Jln Kia Peng.....magnificient view!

GOING HOME
After all the fun and nostalgic moments in the city ,its time to head home ...............

The wings of A330 taking-off gazed by the afternoon sun eastbound.

Jogging at Reservoir Park

Jogging no more than 5 mph is a form of excercise at a slow pace and anymore than that is running. Jogging also helps to improve your cardio ,too much increases the heartbeat eventually leads to a heart attack.

Jogging also strengthen your muscles and too much will put lots of strain on your body especially on the knee caps ,will severe joint problems.

I jogged for 4km and walked for around 2km.....it is considered as a "low-impact" jog ,enough to burned my much unwanted calories.

Jogging in America in the olden days is called "roadworks" and for many athletics it was an important cross-training especially boxers.

Dusks it came...there are still some enthuastic joggers attempting to make a few more laps before darkness the sets in.

Ahoy...... Manhole !!!!!

When I was walking along the footpath of Batu Kawa Road.....there were uncovered manholes stretching along the way by at least 50meters. Who is responsible for this?......if they have the right sense of mind and inconsideration to the pedestrian ,they must take immediate action to cover d manhole up................... This is a 3 foot drop .....so if any unaware pedestrians (esp at night) lands into one of this manholes,I cannot imagine the kind of injuries thats gonna inflict. Thinking of it makes my marbles shiver....so for those who resides along this area please have you respective councils to deal with it immediately!!!

Remember it could happen to you or to any of your loves ones .............walk safe!!!

Scotch Whisky Testing Night at The Junk

Last Friday , me and my friends went for the Single Malt Scotch Whisky Testing Night at "The Junk" Restuarant generously organised by Riche Monde . They are here to promote the Glenmorangie Single Malt with its finest which is handcrafted to its origin dated back since 1843. There were not many invited whisky lovers just about runs up to 10 guests which I consider an exclusive invitation.

The night started with the opening presentation by the Scotch Connoisseur , an outspoken plumb chinese guy from KL whom in his 30's on the three types of Glenmorangie namely , The Original ,Lasanta and Quinta Ruban poured into 3 individual sherry-type port glasses meant for every of the invited guests. Anyhow, I was thirsty , be it testing or not I succumed to 2 shots of "The Original" before everything started........ and here are my observance and perceptions on the three Glenmorangie's as follows.

It is a humbleness drink ,good after when you get sick of the "crockroach-smelling " Black Labels and Chivas Regals. Its is also on the lighter side, considers good for all whisky lovers who has had hangovers and who are in need of a chaser.............
This I won't recommend as I have mentioned for those whom has the intend and looking forward to a whisky-spree night or had one the night before. Its has a very strong woody smell so therefore any first consumption of it would result in throat coughing like jet's after burners!!! However, I think its good with cigars........

This is another drink with humbleness .....I like it very much as in fact it seems to be the most poured drinks on the table ,that I have to insists for it constantly before it runs dry!!! It is also a good whisky which blends with almost everything including food. During dinner , I had salmon and lamb which its compliments very well.

In light of the amount of scotch whiskys I had ,its was about time my bladder had triggers my sensory alarm to head for the washroom and to my surprise when I was there.......!!!

After my relieved I was trying to find the washing bowl to wash my hands....and for awhile I couldn't locate it . I looked around the washroom and damn ,not one in sight.......in my mind was thinking ,the owner had forgotten to put one or simply disrespect hygiene !!

After closed scrutiny , I noticed a brass looking metal object somewhat like the one used by the roman soldier as bodyshield in the medieval times.
As it turns out after unlocking the clip , it was the washing bowl...unique man unigue!!!!

Also in the washrooms , I can't help but noticed this old bus stop sign which many would remember been used in the early 70's ................dejavu!!

When I couldn't find the washing bowl at that time, I had nothing better to do so I had my own picture taken.....creepy dude i am!!!!
